The Indian Heights School ensures a holistic development of the students through diverse channels like multidisciplinary, experiential and joyful learning.The students from classes IX to XII, participated in the Annual Kala- Utsav event and bagged coveted position. The students displayed their problem- solving , analysing, verifying skills and strategies as they presented the Indigenous toys in different categories i.e. Two dimensional and Three dimensional categories. The students continued the enviable winning legacy with a landmark win in the Kala Utsav competition. In the category, Visual Art 2D Indigenous Art (Boys), Sarthak Ranjan of XI -A bagged third position.In Indigenous Toys and Games (Boys), Garv Yadav of XI -C clinched third position and Aanya Manchanda of X-B won third position in girls category. The meritorious performance of the students aptly depicted their keen eye and good observational skills.

21st century learners, brimming with confidence are multifaceted innovators, collaborators, orators, budding writers and aspiring scientists to name a few. The Indian Heights School nurtures the eco-system of fostering skills and competencies well aligned with values of care and compassion. A moment of exhilaration and elation as our young speaker, Lakshita Kirola of class VII-D, delivered a TEDx speech on the topic ‘Power of Quiet’ on November 6, 2022. The motivational talk aptly highlighted the struggles of the introverts especially when the students are back in physical classroom learning after a widening of two years. The young notable orator emphasized that introversion does not mean that one is timid. It is just that one is selective with the number of people, one is surround with. Lakshita emphasized on the need to overcome self doubt, follow one's heart, and hone your strengths. The enlightening session encouraged and motivated everyone to develop a progressive thought process and be more emphatic.

Diet & Fit- The fitness Studio affiliated to Delhi Olympic Association and Central District Taekwondo Association  organized 2nd INTERCLUB Taekwondo Championship 2022. Dhariya of class VII won the Bronz Medal under cadet 56-Kg category  and Aadik of class II  won the Gold Medal under Sub-Junior cadet 24 KG category.  Heartiest Congratulations to  both the Winners.

TIHS Brims with Scientific Spirit as Young Impeccable Achievers Outshine at MVPP

A proud and elated moment for the The Indian Heights School once again. The students from the Senior Wing with their excellent performance at MVPP i.e. Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha brought glory to the school. The meritorious students Uday Raj Malik (X-A), Ayushman Ojha (X-B), Parth Dharmendra Adate(X-B) and Vishwesh Tulasyan( X-B) displayed an exemplary scientific temperament to clinch the coveted appreciation and win a scholarship of Rs 5000/- each. MVPP earlier known as JSTSE is the most prestigious Scholarship Exam for class IX students. The program helps students in understanding the basics of Science & Mathematics and General Awareness. This in turn boosts the IQ and reasoning ability thereby developing a strong foundation that is otherwise so essential in one’s career. The platform also honours and helps talented by providing assistance in the form of scholarship. All the five aspiring winners from class X, cleared the two rounds MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT( Scholastic Aptitude) as they worked ceaselessly to win the prestigious scholarship. The school Principal Ms Archana Narain congratulated the budding scientists for their splendid performance. Expressing her delight she said that with NEP 2020, the entire focus on knowledge, aptitude and skills is well integrated into curriculum. This in turn will go a long way in fulfilling the school mission to develop the qualities of leadership of innovation in the young Heightians. TIHS’ YOUNG LITERARY GEM HONOURED BY RENOWNED MEDIA HOUSE

A moment of elation, pride and exhilaration for The Indian Heights School. Diyansha Kirola, from Class IX-A, won appreciations and accolades for her book, a fantasy fiction titled, ‘ Elements of the Lost Medallion’, in the prestigious award ceremony organized by renowned Jagran Josh , Dainik Jagran media house. The defining event, ‘EDUCATION AWARDS 2022’, held on March 31st, 2022 honoured the young prodigy writer for her monumental journey during the Pandemic to be so thoughtful and create a marvellous piece of literary excellence thereby encouraging and inspiring others to emulate and excel . Divyansha was acknowledged as the ‘Most Promising Literary Talent’. She received the honour after clinching to top three best positions from 15 sub categories out of 750 nominations. The school principal Ms Archana Narain congratulated Divyansha for her resounding ascend as a budding writer and wished her all the best for all her future endeavours. "Heightian Qualifies in NTSE Scholarship Second Stage”

A proud moment for The Indian Heights School once again as Tejas Chaudhary from class XI-A qualified for the NTSE Scholarship. The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is conducted every year in two stages. In Stage-1, it is conducted at State level by the State Education Departments. A fixed number of students from each state and UTs are selected for stage – 2 examination. In Stage-2, the examination is conducted by NCERT at national level and a fixed number of students Qualified for the NTS Scholarship. The paper consists of SAT, i.e Science and Social Science and MAT i.e Mental Ability. Tejas appeared for both the stages conducted on 13th December,2020 by Education Dept, Govt. of Delhi and stage -2 was conducted on 24th October, 2021 by NCERT and won scholarship for his stellar performance. Through his meritorious performance, Teajs Chaudhary had also qualified JSTSE (Junior Science Talent Search Examination) in class-IX conducted by Department of Education , Govt of Delhi. Kudos to the brimming scholar and Best Wishes for all his future endeavours.

The event witnessed a rich display of rhetorical skills and research work as the participants recited poems high on themes like nature, courage and good values in the regional language and scored prestigious position. It was an illuminating experience for students as they observed each other and learnt a lot throughout the event.

A healthy sport quotient not only ensures good stamina but also refines skills, develops strategies, nurtures team work and builds leadership qualities. As we embrace ourselves to celebrate the upcoming 75th Independence Day, one of our shining stars, Ved Pratap Singh from Step II, Dew Drops participated in the ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’: Rashtragaan singing, organised by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The tiny tot recited the National Anthem with immense zeal and enthusiasm, as his own rendition. The heartening appreciation by the Ministry of Culture for his patriotic effort was the catalyst to boost his morale. The Management, Principal, Headmistress and the entire TIHS fraternity conveys heartiest congratulations to Ved Pratap for this marvelous effort.

The students of The Indian Heights School once again proved their mettle with the Class X CBSE Result Declaration on August 3, 2021. The students scripted a historic moment as they excelled in the CBSE results by bringing echoed laurels and accolades to the school. To celebrate and share the momentous day, the meritorious excellence students visited the school premises to express their gratitude and seek blessings from their mentors. The students were welcomed with garlands and a bouquet of flowers on a customary note. The parents and teachers blessed them and conevyed their heartfelt blessings for a bright and prosperous future ahead. The students were overwhelmed with the stunning results and shared their views as they traced their nostalgic journey throughout the virtual learning. They felt short of words as they expressed their gratitude towards the school Management and school Principal for supporting and rendering a safe and secure online platform. In the recently conducted Inter-School competition, a marvellous special mention has been received from the Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, in Speech Declamation, at the event Abhivyakti 2021. The Head Mistress, Ms. Meghna Dungrakoti conveyed her heartfelt wishes to the young achiever, Ms Aaryahi Misra of the Primary wing for the laurel earned and making the institution proud. Future Astro Physicist- Sarthak

On the occasion of the Annular Eclipse called the great ring of fire India 2019 which occurred on the 16th of Dec. 2019 Space India (our Astronomy outsourced partner) organized The Space Heli odyssey test . It was an online test in which 4 of our students participated. Sarthak Kumar Ranjan of class VIII  secured the 72nd rank out of 200 student scientists  and was gifted a 76MM Reflector Telescope with solar filter. Congratulations Sarthak.

The students of TIHS have secured overall  3rd position in Karan Williams Memorial 16th Inter School Cross Country Championship held at Mount Carmel School Dwarka, on February 14, 2020. Heartiest congratulations to the winners.



STORMING THE SKATING RINK

Sanghmitra Mandal is the pride of The Indian Heights School. Aged just 11, she has taken the skating rink by storm, having had a long list of accolades at various events. Currently she has won the 2nd position at the Quads U-12 time trail and was awarded a Silver Medal. She took part at the CBSE Cluster Skating Championship 2019 held at G R International School, Bawana, where she won the Silver Medal in  the Long Race 1000 meter and in the Time Trail Race. She qualified for CBSE Nationals held at Belgaum, Karnataka. She has also qualified for RSFI Championship and SGFI Championship.



Snooker Queen!

The Indian Heights School fraternity is proud of 11 year old Manita Bhatia, who has created history at the Junior Woman’s Snooker Championship, Delhi Chapter. Next year she will be participating at the National Tournament representing Delhi. She is the youngest to have won this Championship at the age of 11 years, thereby creating a new National record.

Our tiny tots  showcased their agility and strength  while participating in ‘UMANG’- ‘The Inter-school Sports 2018’  held on December 21, 2018. The event was organized by Delhi International School Edge, Dwarka. Our students  astounded everyone through their commendable performance  thereby securing 3rd position under ‘Green Delhi Clean Delhi Race’. The Chairperson, Ms. Madhu Gupta congratulated the students and appreciated their magnificent performance. It was heartening to see our young athletes standing proudly wearing medals and holding their certificates.

Dance Week celebrated at TIHS!

 ‘Dancing is like dreaming with your feet’

‘Great dancers are not great because of their technique; they are because of their passion’

What an exuberant week it was! TIHS  witnessed dancing  talent in myriad forms as it celebrated DANCE WEEK from 23rd -27th April 2018.

Students from Junior Wing enthusiastically participated in the Inter-House ‘Lil Champs Dance Competition’   held from April 23rd to 27th, 2018 and  Senior Wing students  had an amazing time swaying and moving their bodies in an Inter House Solo Dance competition ‘Dance Catechize’  on April 27, 2018. Bathed in the amazing rainbow colours of talent , the auditorium of TIHS witnessed a range of dance forms from Laavni, Bharatnatyam , Tandav to the likes of contemporary Bollywood and Hip Hop. Young enthusiasts were excited to be a part of a colorful and vibrant event. Their hands and feet oozed energy and oomph as they twirled , flipped and jumped. Interesting props were also used by children to make their act all the more interesting. Not only the teachers but also the judges immensely enjoyed the dance moves of our young dances. However, they had a tough time deciding on the winners. The judges who graced the occasion of weeklong Junior wing competition were an ace choreographer; Mr.Vipin Kishore; Ms. Shweta Mahapatra, a veteran Classical Dancer and Assistant Choreographer in Bollywood ; Mr.Bijender Negi, a PTA member; Ms.Aarti Singh Chauhan, a famous Zumba trainer, Ms Mitu,  a Sr. Instructor at Sudhaya Dance Foundation, Gurgaon, Ms.Asha Kumari, a Management Professional, Ms. Neha Munjal and a seasoned performer –Choreographer Mr. Arun Singh. Ms. Vinita Shrivastava and Ms. R. Nair judged the Sr. wing students  with precision. This weeklong dance competition  raised the bar of  excitement and talent at TIHS.

We, at The Indian Heights School provide ample opportunities to our learners to excel and hone their skills and talent. Participation in various Olympiads is one of the platforms provided to our students where they get an early exposure to learning & competitions. Regular participation in these competitive exams helps them in gaining additional knowledge. They derive the skills and master the technique to answer the wide varieties of questions hence gain confidence to write papers. Participation in Olympiads tend to make them very sharp minded and clever problem solvers because the Olympiad exams do not just test the student’s knowledge of concepts but the understanding and application of the concepts as well. It gives a chance to the students to sharpen their skills by tackling a number of problems at a level they are not likely to encounter in their classrooms. Through Olympiads students can analyze their performance at school, city, state, national and international level. The active participation of our students in number of Olympiads e.g Silver Zone, SOF, Eduheal and GOF Live Olympiads have made them more confident. Our students brought laurels to the school by winning prizes and securing meritorious positions in various Olympiads. In Silver Zone Talent Hunt Olympiad, Lakshay Rathore of class III bagged Gold Medal and a Watch and secured State Rank 2 and International Rank 24. Shresth Agarwal of class III won the Silver Medal and secured the State Rank 4. Srajan Mahajan of class VII won Gold Medal and secured State Rank 5. In SOF International English Olympiad, Adwayesh Anand of class II bagged certificate for Outstanding Performance and also secured 3rd Rank & Bronze Medal in International & Zonal level. Now our students are geared up for the second level Olympiads.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD 2017-2020

The aim of education is to sensitize the students and prepare them to become global citizens. Our participation in the International School Award for the year 2017-2020 accredited by the British Council for bringing international perspective in the school curriculum, provided a window to our students where they were engrossed in yearlong International Activities, learnt and shared global trends and educational practices with the wider world. These international activities gave them an opportunity to bring world in their classrooms. The work of our students was highly appreciated by the British Council and the school is once again bestowed with the International School Award, third time in a row. This badge of honor has truly inspired our students to aspire for more such rewarding opportunities. Heartiest congratulations to the TIHS fraternity for this remarkable feat. 'Inter-School AstroToon Competition’

\'Inter-School AstroToon Competition was conducted by SPACE as a part of World Space Week, 2017 wherein students of classes I-X from all over India took  part. It is proud moment for all of us  as out of  over 2000 entries, our student Amogh Goel of class III Cosmos secured 3rd position. Heartiest congratulations to  Amogh Goel for this wonderful achievement.



CONGRATULATIONS ASTEROID DISCOVERERS!!

It’s a proud moment for the school like last year this year too our students participated in All Indian Asteroid Search Campaign and once again Yash Kumar of class IX has successfully done the Provisional Discovery for the object 2017 MU which is a confirmed and formally recognized asteroid discovery by the international agencies. I congratulate him for this momentous achievement as he is among the three asteroid discoverers in India.

AIASC, is a unique and exclusive International platform created by SPACE in collaboration with International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) for Indian students and amateur astronomers across India since 2010. SPACE has brought this opportunity to live the lifetime experience of hunting asteroids in Main Belt Asteroids. 

The budding Scientist of our school, Yash Kumar a student of class IX-A brought laurels to the school when he successfully completed a significant preliminary discovery of 7 Asteroids in All India Asteroid Search Campaign. Yash was not only very enthusiastic but also consistent at his work and as a result, did a marvelous job of finding the asteroids and making us stand on the second place in terms of numbers. This is an amazing opportunity for the school as well as for the students to get their names at the International Level.

Impossible is not a word in the dictionary of Heightians. One more stone has been unturned when Abhijay Dutt of class VII-A got selected in \'U14 CBSE National Cricket Team\' and became the part 62nd National School Games. He played for Delhi region and the team bagged first position.

It is a proud moment for the school as our young sportsman is exploring and unleashing his sporting spirit. The principal and school management congratulate the parents and the child and wish him all the best for all his future endeavours in the field of sports and shine like a star.



Dabur Immune School Challenge and HT Pace felicitates the students of TIHS

It was a matter of great pride for The Indian Heights School when the school made it to final  top 50 schools entries in an health awareness campaign organised by Dabur Immune Champ for the year 2015-16.The students from the Indian Heights School were felicitated as Immune Champs by HT Pace Representative, Ms. Preetinder Kaur, as a part of joint venture campaign by Dabur i.e  Dabur Chayawanprash Immune India School Challenge 2015-16 on December 2, 2016.The campaign is  a mega initiative by Dabur Chyawanprash to reach out  to identify and recognize the healthiest schools & students of the country.  

On this momentous occasion, the parents of the immune champs were also present. The guest Ms. Preetinder Kaur enlightened everyone about the campaign and applauded the efforts made by the school to spread the message of healthy eating. The two students Amitoj Aujla (V-C) and Koshika Sehgal (VI-A) were felicitated with Certificate of Merit and a Tablet. In her address, the school Principal Ms. Archana Narain reminded students about the importance of eating healthy food, nutritious breakfast, drinking water and indulging in outdoor activities. The event was cheered by one and all.

TIHS QUALIFIES FOR GLOBAL ROUND IN WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP 2016.

The students from The Indian Heights School added another feather in the cap when they bagged 11 Gold Medals and 18 Silver Medals in World Scholar’s Cup 2016, Dwarka Round. The event was conducted for two days Oct20 and Oct 21,2016 by the host school Maxfort School, Dwarka.The World Scholar\'s Cup (occasionally abbreviated as WSC) is an international team academic program with students participating from over 50 countries. The competition  attracts what it calls \"a global community of future scholars and leaders\", and promotes its participants to \"discover strengths and skills that they never knew they had.\" Despite technically being a competition, The World Scholar\'s Cup focuses far more on bringing students from different cultures together to discuss issues and ideas relevant to today and the future.

Our students participated at both Junior and Senior level and participated in each of the  four main events: the Scholar\'s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, The Team Debate, and the Scholar\'s Bowl. The  curriculum had six subjects with questions that require critical thinking skills as well as their basic knowledge to come to a conclusion rather than focusing on memorization namely Science,Literature, Art and Music,Special Area,History and Social Studies.The students at both the levels displayed an overwhelming response as they worked together as a team and clinched medals in different categories.

Discovery of a potential asteroid by the students of The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka

“Man has an unquenchable thirst to seek new world, new civilzation and to boldly go where no man has gone before”

The students from The Indian Heights School attended yet another edifying and highly knowledgeable workshop on All India Asteroid Search Campaign (AIASC) organized by SPACE. 

The workshop commenced with some useful instructions by the resource person Ms Mila Mitra. Besides sharing some amazing facts on space the workshop largely focused on ‘Asteroids’ and human discoveries so far. The participants were shown an informative video on ‘Space’. The students were further enlightened on how to download and install the specific link to learn about asteroids, their characteristics and how to discover them.

Heartiest congratulations to Mast. Manas Chawla and Mast.Merak Tandon of our school for making the preliminary discovery of an asteroid as part of AIASC 2015.  The two meritorious students successfully accomplished a preliminary discovery of the Main Belt object MAUR 844 which in turn will further confirm more sightings in future. We wish them to be the future astronauts & wish them all the very best.

Dwarka Parichay & society for Creative’s conferred ‘Dwarka Topper School Award’ to the meritorious students of The Indian Heights school, sector 23, Dwarka  in the  ‘3rd Dwarka Toppers Students’ Award Ceremony’ held on July 10, 2015.  We once again congratulate our Toppers from class IX, Ms. Srishti Ahuja, Ms. Simar Kaur Tuteja  Mast.
