TIHS pays tribute to the Spirit of Sacrifice.

Within the intricate mosaic of bygone eras, martyrs intricately weave threads of sacrifice and inspiration. Gathered on this sacred Martyrs Day, Heightians' hearts resonated with Mahatma Gandhi's timeless counsel: 'The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.' In a poignant assembly, we tenderly honoured those who gave everything for the cause of freedom.

Amidst the hallowed walls of our school, the echoes of 'Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram' and 'Vaishnav Jante Tene Kariye Ne' reverberated, beautifully rendered by the school choir, invoking the spirit of unity and non-violence championed by Gandhiji. The stage came alive with the graceful movements of Class 2 students, who presented a dance performance on 'Bande Mei Dum Tha,' a soul-stirring portrayal of courage and determination.

As the students delved into the annals of history, they showcased various movements where Gandhiji played a pivotal role, emphasizing the profound impact he had on India's quest for independence. A short interactive quiz engaged the audience, testing their knowledge and deepening their understanding of the sacrifices made by those who walked the path of righteousness.

The assembly reached its pinnacle when our esteemed School Principal, Ms. Archana Narain addressed the gathering, elucidating the timeless virtues that we should draw from Gandhiji's life.

The School Chairperson Ms Madhu Gupta, the School Principal Ms. Archana Narain and the School Headmistress Ms. Meghana Dungrakoti, joined hands with the Heightians to collectively pay homage to the Father of the Nation as they observed two minutes silence 11:00 am.

In the sacred moments of reflection, we stood united, recognizing the significance of Martyrs' Day, not merely as a historical event, but as a beacon guiding us towards a future steeped in justice, compassion, and unwavering commitment to truth. Jai Hind
