The students from The Indian Heights visited National Agricultural Science Centre to witness a science exhibition themed on cutting-edge agricultural technologies. The exhibition organized by ICAR, i.e. Indian Council of Agricultural Research marked 96th Fondation Day of ICAR. The students had the privileged opportunity to meet and interact with Dr.S.R Sharma, Research Principal Scientist in ICAR at NASC. The students learnt about the new explorations in the field of farming. They were also briefed about the career options in Science and how to chart their path through ICAR. The students were also enlightened about different courses and undergraduate programms offered by ICAR such as B.Sc in Horticulture, Physiology, Sericulture, B.Tech in Dairy, Biotechnology and Bachelors of Veterinary Services as potential careers. Besides witnessing demonstrations of various agricultural technologies, the students were acquainted about innovations and scientific advancements in the field of agriculture. The visit to the exhibition had valuable take always for all the students especially in the field of agricultural research.
