TIHS Resonates with Sacred Chants and Devotion
The portals of The Indian Heights School came alive with the sacred echoes of prayers and holy offerings as the school organized a grand Hawan Ceremony on February 2, 2025, to mark the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. Amidst the vibrant hues of yellow and white, the atmosphere was filled with spirituality and reverence.
The School Management led the Hawan, performing customary rituals to seek the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and learning. Students and parents from Classes X and XII offered flower petals and prayed for success in their upcoming board examinations. They also received scrolls with eternal verses, encouraging them to rise high, perform well and embrace wisdom. The ceremony concluded with a soulful Saraswati Aarti, followed by a ceremonial Bhandara, where everyone relished the prasadam and lunch.
The festival of Basant Panchami immersed everyone in devotion, gratitude, and the spirit of learning, celebrating the gift of knowledge and enlightenment.
