TIHS attends SMILE International Film Festival Children and Youth, SIFFCY

students from The Indian Heights School once again made their mark as Young Jury Members at SIFFCY.
The three day visit to the festival was a rich and engaging learning experience as students interacted with Film makers from International panorama. The students witnessed the gala opening ceremony along with Yellow Carpet Screening of movies from countries all over the world with Germany,Taiwan,
Netherlands, Mexico, Iran, Poland, Lithuania, Finland, Italy, Ukraine and India to name a few. Besides screening of movies, panel discussions on the role of Cinema fostering global collaboration and strengthening a sustainable futuristic world further acquainted the students on the constructive role of cinema. Our young jury members Lakshita Kirola (IX-A) and Trisha Gupta (XI-D)were felicitated at a special award ceremony, organized to announce the best award winning movies in children and youth categories. The visit to SMILE Siffcy Film Festival was a remarkable and phenomenal learning experience as students expressed their views on the screening of different movies and how each day each show contributed towards a productive learning outcome.
