Empowering Awareness: Cancer Prevention Workshop at The Indian Heights School

Teachers and staff at The Indian Heights School attended a powerful Cancer Awareness Workshop conducted in collaboration with Astitva Cancer Care Foundation, a non-profit working towards awareness, early detection, and support for cancer patients.

Led by Dr. Seema Singh MS, MCh Surgical Oncology (AIIMS, New Delhi), Senior Consultant at Yashoda Superspeciality Hospital and founder of Astitva, along with Mr. Mayank Shukla, Project Manager and social work scholar, the session highlighted risk factors, early warning signs, and preventive strategies.

Special appreciation to our Grade 12 students Trisha, Yashovardhan, and Ayush Kumar for taking the initiative as volunteers and helping organize the event seamlessly, showcasing true leadership and social responsibility.

Together, we take one more step toward building a healthier, more informed community.
