Earth Day Celebrations.

Our young environmental ambassadors engaged in various impactful activities:

  • - Student-led plantation drive, enhancing the greenery in our surroundings.
  • - Visit to the school’s hydroponic garden, gaining insights into sustainable agriculture.
  • - Awareness campaign in the neighbourhood, educating the community on eco-friendly practices.
  • - Assembly pledges, where students vowed to protect and preserve our planet.
  • - Performances including skits, fancy dress, dances and songs, all centered around conserving Mother Earth.
  • - Screening of an environmental documentary, followed by a thought-provoking Q&A session.

In alignment with the Government-led Eco Club initiative under Mission LiFE by the Ministry of Education, our students undertook a unique project. They surveyed the school premises, selected various plants and trees, and created QR codes for each. These QR codes were placed on the respective plants, allowing students to conveniently scan and learn about the plant species, their benefits, and care instructions. This initiative aims to foster a deeper connection between students and nature, promoting continuous learning and environmental stewardship.

These activities not only spread awareness but also instilled a sense of responsibility in our students towards environmental conservation.
