Exploring Ideas, Voices, and Real-World Narratives
Educational excursions play a pivotal role in broadening students’ horizons by offering them real-world exposure and the chance to engage with diverse ideas and individuals. The students of Grade 12, visited the United Nations Centre, Lodhi Estate to attend a Film Festival and Panel Discussion on the Portrayal of Persons with Disabilities in Indian Television and Cinema.
The experience opened new avenues for students to think critically, interact with professionals and experts, and develop a deeper understanding of inclusivity and representation in media. Such opportunities not only strengthen classroom learning but also help students evolve into informed, empathetic, and socially aware individuals—ready to engage with the world around them.
