India-Japan Virtual Cultural Exchange
A video conference session was organized with a partner school in Japan to promote global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, and collaborative learning among students. During this interactive session, students from both countries actively participated in discussions on pressing global issues such as gender equality, the growing water crisis, population challenges, and the availability of medical facilities. The participants shared perspectives from their respective countries, highlighting similarities and differences in social structures, resource management, healthcare systems, and gender roles. The discussion enabled students to develop a deeper understanding of how these issues impact societies worldwide and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and sustainable solutions. The session was highly engaging and informative, fostering critical thinking, empathy, and global citizenship among the students. Such international interactions play a vital role in broadening students’ horizons and encouraging them to become responsible and informed global citizens.
