Inter-House Extempore Competition “A book is a dream that you hold in your hands.”
On the occasion of World Book Day, The Indian Heights School organized an Inter-House Extempore Competition, celebrating the power of words, ideas, and expression. The event provided students with a platform to think on their feet and articulate their thoughts with confidence and clarity. Participants spoke on diverse topics, showcasing not only their knowledge but also their creativity, presence of mind, and command over language. The competition highlighted that reading is not just about gaining information—it shapes perspectives, enhances imagination, and builds strong communication skills.
The initiative reinforced the importance of books in nurturing young minds and encouraged students to develop a lifelong love for reading and thoughtful expression.
