Handloom Fiesta – Weaves of India
On the occasion of National Handloom Day, students of Grades I–V celebrated Handloom Fiesta – Weaves of India, exploring the vibrant textile traditions of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh through engaging role-plays and creative presentations. They learnt about the unique fabrics, attire, and weaving heritage of each state. At The Indian Heights School, we believe that understanding our cultural roots is essential in shaping responsible global citizens. As India is a land of incredible diversity, such experiential learning opportunities help students appreciate the richness of our heritage beyond textbooks, transforming learning into a meaningful journey of discovery, creativity, and cultural pride.
