India-Indonesia- Jakarta and Egypt Exchange Program-2026
Our students participated in a meaningful video conference session with students from schools in Indonesia- Jakarta and Egypt to explore Sustainable Development Goal 15 (SDG 15): Life on Land. The session focused on the growing impact of plastic pollution on our land and environment. Students discussed how the excessive use and improper disposal of plastic is damaging soil, harming plants and animals, polluting ecosystems, and creating long-term environmental challenges. Students from the participating schools actively shared their ideas and perspectives on how we can address this global problem. They suggested practical ways to reduce the use of plastic, including avoiding single-use plastics, reusing everyday items, recycling responsibly, encouraging sustainable alternatives, and spreading awareness within schools and communities. The interaction provided students with an opportunity to learn from one another and understand that environmental challenges are shared across countries and cultures. Their creative ideas demonstrated that young people could play an important role in building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. The conference concluded with a strong message: small changes in our daily choices can make a big difference in protecting life on land and creating a sustainable Earth for future generations.
