"The learning is more contextual and authentic when gained through field trips as it is deepened through real life experiences.\" Field trips go a long way in facilitating experiential learning. Envisioning and fulfilling the set learning objectives, the students of \"Hospitality Club\" of classes VI-XII visited the Welcom Group of Hotels, Dwarka by ITC group on October 16, 2023. At the hotel, the students and the teachers were greeted by the resource person and staff, who briefed about the functional provisions & facilities available at the Welcom Hotel, Dwarka Branch. The students were then divided into smaller groups who visited the different types of rooms available at the hotel and were briefed about the facilities that differentiate the five categories. The students took a tour of the Shanghai Restaurant (Chinese cuisine) along with its Private seating area and the Pavilion 75 Restaurant (Intercontinental cuisine). The resource person also took a brief session on \"Hospitality and F&B\" Sector as a career and shared his journey of 15 years into the industry. The students enjoyed the delicacies served by the hosts and cherished their overall experience of the visit which proved to be an engaging, interactive and fun-filled learning experience.
