‘Har Ghar Diwali': Celebrating Diwali with Purpose and Compassion.

On the occasion of Diwali , a heartwarming initiative was taken by the proud students of TIHS, embodying the true spirit of giving and compassion.

Under the concept of ‘Har Ghar Diwali’, TIHSIANS felt inspired to make a difference and brainstormed ways to bring joy to those less fortunate. Their idea of raising funds to empower the underprivileged was both thoughtful and impactful.

In just two days, they successfully encouraged parents and families to join in their mission. Through their dedicated efforts, a significant amount was raised. The school management was so moved by their commitment that they added to the contributions, allowing the students to prepare 500 gift hampers. Each hamper was thoughtfully filled with diyas, puja essentials, sweets and other festive items.

With these hampers, the students, carrying sweets from home, visited various NGOs, including Empowering Humanity, Don Bosco, and the Blind School. They also reached out to underprivileged individuals on the roadside, spreading Diwali cheer across the community. This initiative by our students reflects the values of empathy, kindness, and unity instilled by both the school and parents—a perfect collaboration towards a brighter world.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication and compassion, making this Diwali meaningful for all.
