Mindful Movement

The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.

The Indian Heights School observed World Health Day on April 06, 2023 by organising a session themed "Mindful Movement" for the students of classes X and XII. The session was facilitated by School Counsellor Ms. Aayushi Tanwer, who initiated the session by discussing various aspects of 'well-being' and how one can improve the quality of their life through self-care. Using the concepts and ideas of Movement Therapy, she also highlighted the fact that movement gives us access to joy that will dramatically improve the quality of one's life, help support mental health and create more meaning and belonging.
